DIY: Distressed Jeans
I saw that my mom was gathering things to donate including these American Eagle Waist Jeans so I busted out some simple sowing tools and decided to make myself (1)another (2)pair of (3)distressed jean shorts. Took me about 2 sittings and a rough total of 4 hours all together. I really wish I had the time to get back into DIYs like I did all of last summer but whatev, this satisfied my craving to do some hands on work. Enjoy!

Heres my first DIY project inspired by all the tribal prints I’ve been seeing on tumblr and the world of fashion. First I got white canvas shoes from H&M for about $12 and many small tubes of neon fabric paint from my local craft store for probably around $8. With a pencil I sketched out on the shoes what type of pattern I wanted, then later on just applied the paint in a funky tribal pattern. I referenced a couple pictures until I found what pattern inspired me most then just took a small brush and applied it. Shoes like these will be sure to brighten up your day and put a pep in your step! Enjoy! :D
